West Ham United won against Crystal Palace in the Premier League without Dimitri Payet.

Trevor Sinclair has taken to social networking site Twitter to have his say on the current situation surrounding West Ham United attacking midfielder Dimitri Payet.

Payet joined West Ham from Marseille in the summer of 2015 and has a contract with the London outfit until June 2021, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

The future of the France international attacking midfielder is wrapped up in uncertainty, though, with manager Slaven Bilic recently telling The Sun that he wants to leave.

Bilic added that the 29-year-old does not want to play for the Hammers anymore, with the star not included in the team for the London derby against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon

Former West Ham winger Sinclair has taken to Twitter to have his say on the situation and has also commented on the team’s 3-0 victory over Palace at the London Stadium in the Premier League.

If Payet wants to leave and does not want to play, then it would be best if West Ham sell him in the January transfer window.

True, the Frenchman is the best player in the current West Ham squad, but if he is not interested in playing for them, then would he be of any value on the pitch?
