Leeds United suffered a damaging defeat against Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night in their race for promotion.

Trevor Sinclair hailed QPR’s 1-0 win over Leeds United as ‘incredible’ on Twitter as he gave a special mention to Luke Freeman, who secured all three points on Tuesday night at Loftus Road.
In what was a lacklustre first half from Steve McClaren’s men, Freeman netted the only goal of the game moments after the restart to further dent their opponents promotion hopes.
Throughout the game, Marcelo Bielsa’s side were poor in possession, with the London club’s energetic press continually causing them problems.
The game at Loftus Road was Leeds’ game in hand over their promotion rivals and a point would have seen them move into the automatic places, while all three points would have seen them move to the top of the Championship.
Nonetheless, here is former Premier League player, Sinclair offering his thoughts on QPR’s win against Leeds on his personal Twitter account:
Bielsa will be a little worried about his Leeds side and the form they have been showing in recent weeks because if these types of performances continue then they won’t finish in the top two.
The tough games will only continue because on Friday night they host fourth-placed West Brom at Elland Road and further dropped points will see their supporters potentially looking over their shoulders.

Throughout the season, the Whites have showcased an incredibly energetic, attacking style, which was questioned by outsiders as to whether they would be able to maintain it for the whole campaign.
Well, they are being duly tested now and Bielsa will be well aware that the only way his team can respond is by picking up three points, regardless of how they come about.
