Trevor Sinclair has taken to Twitter to send a message to Said Benrahma following the latter’s move to West Ham United from Brentford.

As reported by BBC Sport, the Algeria international winger joined the Hammers from Championship club Brentford on summer transfer deadline day.

West Ham have paid the Bees an initial loan fee of £5 million and are obliged to make the move permanent next summer for £20 million, according to the report.

Former West Ham winger Sinclair has welcomed Benrahma to the London Stadium and has urged the 25-year-old, who can also play as a forward, to work hard.

Good signing for West Ham United?

Benrahma is a very good winger who scores goals and creates chances, and the Algerian will make West Ham a better and more potent team in attack.

According to WhoScored, the winger scored 17 goals and provided nine assists in the Championship last season, and in 2018-19, he scored 10 goals and gave 14 assists in the league.

Ollie Watkins is showing that quality players can easily step up from the Championship to the Premier League, with the striker scoring three goals and providing one assist in the English top flight for Aston Villa so far this season, according to WhoScored. Benrahma does have the quality to do the same.
