Trevor Sinclair has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s loss against Rangers in the Old Firm derby this afternoon.
Celtic have suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Steven Gerrard’s side at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.
Connor Goldson put the Gers in the lead after just nine minutes, and the defender doubled the tally in the 54th minute.
Former West Ham United and Manchester City winger Sinclair, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT and is a Celtic fan, has given his take on the defeat for Neil Lennon’s team.
Bouncing back
Celtic’s performance against Rangers was disappointing, as the Hoops could not test the Gers defensively enough.
According to BBC Sport, the Bhoys took only five shots, and none of them was on target.
However, it is still only October, and the Scottish Premiership title will not be decided now.
Celtic do have a strong squad, and Lennon’s side will need to bounce back and put together a run of positive results.
Celtic are now four points behind Rangers in second place, but they have played a fewer game.
