Trevor Sinclair said on talkSPORT (9:12am, December 4, 2020) that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has improved under head coach Jose Mourinho.

The former Manchester City winger believes that Ndombele is a clumsy player, but he thinks that the France international midfielder has improved under Mourinho this season.

Sinclair said about Ndombele on talkSPORT (9:12am, December 4, 2020): “He is almost like a clumsy player, but he is a player that’s improved for me under Jose. I think he has been key to a lot of what they have done good this season. He was really good against Man City.”

Important player for Tottenham Hotspur

Ndombele did not have the best of seasons in 2019-20, but the France international has stepped up his game this campaign and is now one of the first names on the teamsheet when he is fit and available.

According to WhoScored, the 23-year-old midfielder has made eight starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.

The youngster also made two starts and one substitute appearance in the Champions League for the North London club this campaign, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.

The midfielder has formed a strong and productive partnership with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the middle of the park, and that will be key in Tottenham’s quest to achieve success this season.
