Trevor Sinclair has said on talkSPORT (9:57am, May 31, 2021) that Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham would be a good signing for Arsenal or Manchester City.

The former City and West Ham United winger believes that Abraham would do a good job for Arsenal, City or the Hammers.

Sinclair said about Abraham on talkSPORT (9:57am, May 31, 2021): “He would do a good job for West Ham and a host of clubs. I think he would do a good job for Manchester City. I think he would do a good job at maybe Arsenal. I think they need a hold-up player.”

Abraham has been linked with moves away, with The Daily Mail reporting that the England international striker is resigned to leaving the Blues, who are planning on making a move for Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Athletic has reported interest in the 23-year-old England international striker from Aston Villa, Newcastle United and West Ham, and has claimed that he is valued at £40 million by Chelsea.

Abraham struggled for playing time at Chelsea this campaign, but the striker has shown in previous seasons what he is capable of.

The 23-year-old scored 15 goals and gave three assists in the Premier League in 2019-20.

During the 2018-19 campaign, the England international striker scored 26 goals and provided three assists in the Championship during his loan spell at Villa.

Sergio Aguero has left City for Barcelona on a free transfer, and there is space in the City squad for a striker.

Arsenal are well stocked in the striker’s department, but if Eddie Nketiah leaves, then Abraham could take his spot in the squad and then push for a place in the starting lineup.
