West Ham defeated Tottenham to reach the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

West Ham came from behind to beat London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and reach the Carabao Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday.
Slaven Bilic was under pressure after West Ham lost 3-0 to Brighton in the Premier League last week, and doubts surfaced over his long-term future at the club.

He was tipped to become the next managerial casualty of the season after the departures of Frank de Boer, Craig Shakespeare and Ronald Koeman from Crystal Palace, Leicester an Everton respectively.
Spurs went 2-0 ahead of the break and it looked like West Ham were heading for another poor defeat. But, an inspired performance from Andre Ayew in the second half swung the tie in the Hammers’ favour.
Ayew scored twice from close range and Angelo Ogbonna scored the third goal from a corner to complete the turnaround.

Former West Ham player, Trevor Sinclair took to Twitter to express his reaction after the game. He said that the Hammers have shown “great” fighting spirit.
West Ham will face Crystal Palace on Saturday in the Premier League at Selhurst Park.
