West Ham striker Andy Carroll was sent off against Burnley in the Premier League.

The striker was sent off at Turf Moor on Saturday for two bookings inside two minutes. Slaven Bilic is reportedly furious with the England striker while other West Ham players are finding it hard to defend him as well.

What infuriates more is the manner of the two bookings – Carroll smashed into Ben Mee with his forearm – which smacks of recklessness and sheer stupidity.
Bilic, who is already under a lot of pressure after West Ham made a stuttering start to the season, is fuming because the dismissal gave Burnley an extra man advantage and they equalized late on and the match ended 1-1.

The Croatian revealed after the match that he was not only disappointed but was angry as well, saying it was unexpected from a player of Carroll’s experience.
Former West Ham player Trevor Sinclair wrote on Twitter that Bilic will be setting a dangerous precedent if he fines Carroll.
