West Ham United-owned Robert Snodgrass played well for Aston Villa against Preston North End in the Championship on Wednesday.

Robert Snodgrass was in great form on Wednesday evening, as the winger helped Aston Villa to victory over Preston North End away from home in the Championship.
Villa maintained their good run of form with a 2-0 win against Preston at Deepdale and are now in the playoffs.
Snodgrass was the star of the show for the Villans on Wednesday evening. The 30-year-old former Leeds United winger scored the second goal and provided the assist for the first.

The Scotland international winger joined Villa on a season-long loan deal from West Ham United in the summer transfer window.
The former Norwich City and Hull City star may have struggled to make an impact at West Ham, but Snodgrass seems to be doing well at Villa at the moment.
Snodgrass has scored two goals and provided two assists in nine Championship starts for Villa so far this season.
