Celtic are used to making history under Brendan Rodgers, but another record fell on Sunday.
The Hoops smashed St Johnstone 5-0 at Parkhead to move into the next round of the Scottish Cup.
In doing so, Rodgers’s side, who have won seven domestic trophies under the Northern Irishman since 2016, recorded their 24th successive cup win.
The last side to beat Celtic in a domestic cup competition were Rangers – then a Championship team – nearly three years ago.

Scott Sinclair opened the scoring after three minutes, before Scott Brown doubled the Bhoys’ advantage with a long-range stunner.
James Forrest and Sinclair added further goals within nine minutes of the restart, before the latter completed his hat-trick toward the end.
Hearts and Aberdeen brushed aside lower-league opposition today to join Celtic in the next round, though Rangers will have to negotiate a replay with Kilmarnock before joining their Premiership rivals, after last night’s 0-0 draw.
