McGinn was in action for Scotland in their Euro 2020 Group I qualifier against San Marino at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Sunday.
The 24-year-old former St. Mirren and Hibernian scored a hat-trick for Scotland in their 6-0.
The midfielder scored all three goals in the first half, and former England and West Ham United winger was impressed with his performance and work-rate.

Villa have not been in great form so far this season, but McGinn has been playing well and working hard.
The midfielder has established himself as an important player in Dean Smith’s side and is also a key figure for Scotland.
