Trevor Sinclair has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool’s win against West Ham United this evening.

The former West Ham and Manchester City winger has admitted his disappointment at the defeat for the Hammers.

Sinclair believes that David Moyes’s side created chances to win the match, and he has also praised Diogo Jota for his performance.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers winger came on as a substitute in the 70th minute and scored what proved to be the winner in the 85th minute.

Former Liverpool forward John Aldridge has also praised Jota, and he believes that West Ham defended well in their 2-1 defeat.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Anfield on Saturday evening, hosts Liverpool had 72% of the possession, took nine shots of which five were on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors West Ham had 28% of the possession, took four shots of which three were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.

Liverpool are now at the top of the Premier League table with 16 points from seven matches, while West Ham are 13th with eight points.
