Trevor Sinclair has said on talkSPORT (8:09am, November 12, 2021) that Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou will be disappointed that Steven Gerrard has left Ibrox club Rangers for Aston Villa.
Gerrard has left his managerial role at Rangers.
The former Liverpool midfielder has become the new manager of Premier League club Villa.
Former West Ham United winger Sinclair is a Celtic fan.
And the talkSPORT pundit believes that Celtic manager Postecoglou will be disappointed that there will be no challenge from Gerrard this season.
Sinclair said on talkSPORT (8:09am, November 12, 2021): “Ange Postecoglou will probably be disappointed because he will have wanted to beat Steven Gerrard at Rangers.
“That’s been taken away from him now. So I think he will be quite disappointed that he has not got that challenge.”

Exciting title race
Rangers won the Scottish Premiership title race with relative ease last season.
However, things are different this time around.
Celtic have started to get into form now and are playing well under Postecoglou, who was appointed the manager in the summer of 2021.

The Gers are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 30 points from 13 matches.
Rangers are four points clear of second-placed and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic.
It will be interesting to see who becomes the new Rangers manager and the impact it makes on the title race.
