Trent Alexander-Arnold and Xherdan Shaqiri are two important players for Liverpool.

Alexander-Arnold scored a brilliant goal from a direct free kick during Liverpool’s 3-0 win against Watford away from home at Vicarage Road in the Premier League last weekend.
It was one of the best goals from a free kick in the league so far this season, and the 20-year-old has said that he looks closely at his Liverpool teammate Shaqiri in training when he is taking set-pieces.
“From the moment he came in, Shaq showed his quality,” Alexander-Arnold told The Liverpool Echo. “He’s very precise with his free-kicks and knows exactly where to put them. His technique is flawless.
“He’s someone I study closely when it comes to that part of the game because he’s almost perfected how to execute set-pieces. It’s good to take pointers off different players and add them to your game.”

Merseyside derby
Meanwhile, Everton left-back Lucas Digne is looking forward to facing his former AS Roma teammate and Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah during the Merseyside derby on Sunday..
Digne told The Mirror: “I know Salah because I played one year with him in Rome. He’s a very good guy and a very good player. I’m a defender, but it’s down to the team to stop him. “We work together and it’s not down to one player or two players. We need to work together. If we do that, we can win.”
