The Super League looks to be over already.
The football world was rocked on Sunday night as 12 clubs around Europe announced their intention to form a breakaway ‘Super League’.
Six Premier League sides were part of it; Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
The plans were met with anger from fans and pundits alike, who believe the plans are completely against the idea of competition.
A closed-off league with huge money for a select few, this is a complete shambles and now looks to be called off already.
Chelsea and Manchester City are leading clubs in pulling out of the plans, and it seems the league will no longer be happening.

Liverpool players are now taking to Twitter to send a united message, in line with the comments James Milner made after the 1-1 draw at Leeds United on Monday night.
Jordan Henderson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, James Milner, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson and Allison all shared the message, with Alexander-Arnold adding just six words; ‘For the fans. For the city.’
