Birmingham City midfielder Jordan James could reportedly decide not to move to Sean Dyche’s Everton.

According to The Sun (print edition, page 59, July 30, 2023), Everton are interested in signing Jordan James from Birmingham City in the summer transfer window.

The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Everton have watched James in action in pre-season for Birmingham.

Clubs in Italy are also claimed to be interested in the 19-year-old Wales international midfielder, who was described as “a tremendous asset” and “a good player” by former Birmingham manager Lee Bowyer in BirminghamWorld in February 2022.

The report has added that James is happy to stay at Birmingham and may not be inclined to move to Everton this summer.

The teenage midfielder wants to play first-team football, which he does, and will, at Birmingham.

James made nine starts and 24 substitute appearances in the Championship for Birmingham last season.

The midfielder made 13 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Championship for the Blues in 2021-22.

The 19-year-old scored one goal and gave two assists in those games.

Birmingham City midfielder Jordan James should consider Everton transfer

In our opinion, Birmingham City midfielder Jordan James should consider a move to Everton in the summer transfer window.

Everton are a big and established club in the Premier League and have a very good manager in Sean Dyche.

Dyche knows the Premier League and the Championship inside out.

The former Burnley boss would be able to get the best out of James and would be able to help him settle into life in the Premier League.

Dyche would know how to manage a teenage midfielder trying to get used to the Premier League after playing in the Championship.
