Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers would be wise to stump up the cash for John Souttar.

Rangers were informed that they would have to spend £3 million on John Souttar this summer, according to The Record.
The 22-year-old defender has been linked to Rangers for a little over a month but if his performance against Celtic is anything to go by, it could be a steal for the Gers.
Souttar was on the losing side as the Hoops beat Hearts 2-1 in Saturday’s Scottish Cup final.
Despite the defeat, the young centre-back was one of his team’s best players on the day.
And here’s how fans – many of them neutral – reacted to Souttar’s defensive display at Hampden.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard will be needing another centre-back – at least one.
Joe Worrall has returned to his parent club, and Gareth McAuley is out of contract, which leaves Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic as Gerrard’s only options as things stand.
Souttar has been a little hit and miss since the original links to Ibrox surfaced last month, but he was fantastic against Celtic and perhaps the light Blues should just stump up the £3 million and get it over with.
