Gone was the clinical striker who scored at a prolific rate for Leeds last season and finished as the Championship top scorer.
His form had seen several Premier League sides linked with his signature, with The Express claiming Stoke City and West Ham were among those keen, with his price tag listed at £15 million.

Leeds United won’t be complaining, with the New Zealander seen as crucial to their chances of promotion success next season.
