Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore wants to join Nuno’s Tottenham Hotspur, according to 90min.
What’s the story?
90min are reporting this afternoon (1:45pm) that Tottenham head coach Nuno has told the club’s managing director of football, Fabio Paratici, to sign Traore from his former club Wolves before the summer transfer window closes next week.
The former Aston Villa winger himself is ‘pushing for the move’ to Spurs.
Tottenham are now ‘expected’ to strike a loan deal with an obligation to buy for £40 million.
Liverpool are also interested in the Spain international, but the former Premier League champions do not want to pay Wolves’ asking price of £40 million.

Is it happening?
Until and unless a player has signed on the dotted line, anything is possible when the transfer window is open.
Always expect the unexpected in the transfer market.
However, multiple sources are now reporting Tottenham’s determination to sign Traore, including Fabrizio Romano and The Telegraph.
Spurs head coach Nuno will know all about Traore, and he will know how to get the best out of him.
Now, £40 million might seem a lot of money for a winger who has scored just seven goals in 142 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career, but Traore has a lot of potential and could get better in the coming years.
