All the rumour, gossip, and news you need to know from the last 24 hours

With Euro 2012 over, it’s all go today in the club football stakes. The Mail has a shock revelation that Chelsea captain and controversial figure John Terry is a target for PSG. Manager of the French side Carlo Ancelotti managed Terry at Stamford Bridge for two seasons and is a keen admirer of the player. The paper report the French runners-up are ready to offer £8 million for the defender, who faces a court date next Wednesday. The second part of the report, details that the Blues are willing to make an offer for Arsenal winger Theo Walcott. It is not the first time Chelsea have been linked with him lately, and the paper adds he is stalling on signing a new deal. Both of these would still be surprises if they came off, but are intriguing.

The Mirror report that Wigan Athletic are playing hardball over in-demand Victor Moses, by pricing him at £12 million. The news won’t go down well with the player or his agent, with Moses keen on a new challenge. Chelsea and Liverpool are both said to be interested, with the Blues having a £4 million bid rejected last month. Both clubs are said to be less than keen to go over £6 million for the 21-year-old, but will have to if they are to get their man.

Lyon are open to selling Hugo Lloris, report the Sun. The 25-year-old French international is a target for Tottenham Hotspur the paper add, along with a number of European clubs. At Spurs he would be an ideal long-term replacement for Brad Friedel, while other reports have linked rivals Arsenal with a swoop. He would be available for transfer at around £15 million.

Jean Alain Boumsong is a name Newcastle United fans would prefer to forget. However the Mail report that they could be re-united with the defender, at least on opposing sides. The Frenchman is said to be a target for an unnamed Premier League club, and is currently at Panathaniakos. Now 32, despite having one year left on his contract, he could be available on a free, news which few Geordies will be surprised at.

Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson was always going to be in-demand after the club’s relegation, but a move to Besiktas was not a predictable one. The Mail report that the goalkeeper is in line to replace Rustu Recber at the Turkish club for a cut-price £1 million, following fellow goalkeeper Scott Carson in moving to the country.
