Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Manchester United are all the talk of the papers today. Get the latest here.
All the latest transfer news and rumours in one place…
The Mail report that former Bolton Wanderers loanee Rodrigo could be a shock target for Arsenal.
The paper say Rodrigo would cost £18 million from Benfica and that he is being lined up as a replacement for Robin van Persie.
Since his time at the Reebok, the 21-year-old striker has blossomed into a real talent, and Manchester City are also monitoring him.
The £18 million figure comes from a release clause in his contract that would force Benfica into a sale.
Tottenham fans were rightly quite excited last night by the news breaking that Eden Hazard said he was open to a move to the club.
To sign him would be a major coup for Spurs, and cement their place as one of Europe’s elite.
It would also be a shrewd move from Daniel Levy in terms of tempting Harry Redknapp to stay, or making the club attractive to Europe’s best managers.
Fans could be getting over-excited, Hazard knows he is in demand and will have several offers, but it is certainly encouraging for fans.
‘Torres to move to the Championship!’ cry the Mirror. Although let us be clear now, we are not talking Fernando Torres here.
No, the report is discussing Sergio Torres, the Crawley Town striker.
He is currently playing in League Two, and the paper report that several Championship clubs are confident he can make the step up.
The Mail tell us this morning that Manchester City are ready to revive interest in Athletic Bilbao midfielder Javi Martinez.
The player was an integral part of Spain’s championship winning under-21 side, but also played at the 2010 World Cup.
He is seen as the complete midfielder, and Manchester United have also been linked.
The paper report that a transfer fee could cost in excess of £30 million, making City clear favourites.
Another fascinating report this morning is that Manchester City teenager John Guidetti is wanted by Bayern Munich.
The 19-year-old is currently on loan at Feyenoord and bagged a hat-trick at the weekend.
City will not want to sell to a big European rival, and will be mindful of how easily they let Daniel Sturridge go, but will have to guarantee Guidetti first team action next season if he is to stay.
