Newcastle United are being linked with a loan deal for talented Dutch winger Eljero Elia.
The Magpies made attempts to sign him in the summer but were unsuccessful, with the player choosing to move to Juventus instead.
Six months his dream move has failed to get going, and he has been unable to force his way into the first team.
The Sun report Newcastle want to take Elia on loan until the end of the season, which the player would surely fancy to give his Euro 2012 hopes a boost.
Bolton Wanderers fans may allow themselves a smile this morning- they have been linked with ‘the new Lionel Messi’.
The youngster with a great deal to live up to is Porto winger Juan Iturbe who has previously been linked with Manchester United.
The Mirror reports that the teenager’s father is keen for him to go out on loan to gain experience, as he is currently on the fringes of Porto’s team.
This one could be a bit hit and miss, Bolton will certainly face competition for his signature.
The same paper also report that Wigan Athletic could be about to cash in on striker Hugo Rodallega.
Rodallega is out of contract in the summer and has previously been linked with Arsenal but on this occasion it is QPR who are interested.
The Mirror claim QPR are ready to tempt Wigan into a sale with a £4 million bid for the Colombian forward.
The Mail claims Liverpool and QPR are both considering moves for former Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb.
The player left Arsenal to go to Barcelona a few seasons back, but the move did not exactly work out as imagined, with the player finding himself on loan at Birmingham City last year.
He recently admitted he ‘wasted his career’ after leaving Arsenal, and you would imagine he would jump at the chance to join Liverpool on loan.
And finally we are asking today if Crystal Palace youngsters Nathaniel Clyne and Wilfried Zaha could be snapped up now the club is out of the Carling Cup.
With no Wembley final to stay around for, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle United will all be considering whether to make the bids they were said to previously be considering.
