Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil
Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, is reportedly keen on bringing Arsenal superstar, Mesut Ozil, to Old Trafford next season, according to reports from The Mirror.
Ozil, who played under Mourinho at Real Madrid, will enter the final year of his contract in July, and as such is yet to agree to a new deal at the London club.
The report suggests that Mourinho is planning to take advantage of the situation, and is looking to make an audacious move for the German international.
Ozil was sold to Arsenal when Mourinho was in charge at Madrid, but the Portuguese was furious with the decision. Madrid felt the offer from Arsenal was too good to turn down.
Mourinho is reportedly a huge admirer of Ozil, and believes he can bring the best out of the 28-year-old attacking midfielder.
Manchester City join the race for Lacazette
Manchester City have joined the long list of clubs that are interested in signing Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports from The Mirror.
The Olympique Lyon striker has been repeatedly linked with a move to Arsenal over the past few years, but the deal has never materialised.
The report suggests that City are keen to bring the French striker, who would cost around £40m, to Etihad in the summer.
The 25-year-old has been in tremendous form this season, and has scored 30 goals in all competitions.
Pep Guardiola is looking to rebuild his squad next season, and identifies Lacazette as an important player to lead his attacking line.
