Premier League giants – Manchester United and Chelsea – are set to battle for Croatian winger, Ivan Perisic, in the summer, according to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report says that both the clubs are willing to pay a massive €60m fee for his signature.

Perisic, who joined Inter Milan in 2015 from Wolfsburg, has been ever-present for the Nerazzurri this campaign. He has made 28 Serie A appearances this season, and has scored nine goals.

United have a wealth of attacking talents in their ranks, and Perisic may not necessarily be an upgrade over the current bunch Jose Mourinho has at his disposal. The money can be used elsewhere.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Liverpool as well. Liverpool defender and Perisic’s national team-mate, Dejan Lovren, told Croatian news outlet Sportske novosti, that all the players would welcome him at the club.

Arsenal set to swoop for Leon Goretzka

Arsenal could make a move for Schalke midfielder, Leon Goretzka, according to reports from The Sun.

The 22-year-old will become a free agent at the end of next season, and he is yet agree to a new deal with the German club.

The Bundesliga club may as well sell him in the summer than face the prospect of losing him for nothing. The midfielder could cost around £21m, according to German newspaper Bild.

Arsene Wenger will be looking to revamp his squad next summer, and could make a move for Goretzka, a player who can play a number of different roles.
