Tottenham Hotspur reportedly made an offer involving Kyle Walker-Peters for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Kyle Walker-Peters being offered out in trade deals does not bode well for his first-team chances at Tottenham Hotspur.

According to The Times, Tottenham made an offer for Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, and included Walker-Peters in the deal for the Crystal Palace full-back.

Palace rejected the offer with Wan-Bissaka now on the verge of a move to Manchester United, but the bid does not suggest that Mauricio Pochettino sees Walker-Peters as a regular starter.

Tottenham are set to shake up their right-back options this summer, with Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier both in danger of being sold.

There had been some murmurings that Walker-Peters could step into Tottenham’s first team as a result.

However, if Pochettino was happy to offer Walker-Peters in a trade deal to get another right-back, it doesn’t exactly suggest that he has the Tottenham boss’s full trust.

And if Walker-Peters doesn’t leave Spurs this summer it is very difficult to see him being used as anything other than a back-up option again, after the latest transfer reports.
