Arsenal, Liverpool, Fiorentina, Southampton, Tottenham, Manchester City and West Brom all feature…
A round-up of the latest transfer rumours…
Arsenal interested in Neto
Arsenal are interested in goalkeeper Norberto Neto, report The Mail. The paper claim the Gunners have been scouting the Fiorentina stopper, who is out of contract at the end of the season. The report is another piece which chips away at Wojciech Szczesny’s potential future at the club, with the Pole losing his place to David Ospina of late.
Liverpool have been linked to the Brazilian previously, but The Mirror reported last week that manager Brendan Rodgers is unconvinced the goalkeeper is the answer to his club’s dilemma in goal.
Jay Rodriguez latest
Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez faces an important few weeks. Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester City have been named by The Mirror as potential suitors, but big question marks exist over his fitness, with the striker yet to play this season.
The paper report that Rodriguez is aiming to get the all clear from doctors next week to start training, which could influence the plans of interested clubs.
Southampton boss Ronald Koeman however told a press conference on Thursday that Rodriguez’s recovery is going well, but he needs more time.
Saido Berahino latest
Tottenham and Liverpool have been linked with West Brom striker Saido Berahino for weeks, but a BT Sport report carries a warning for them from Baggies boss Tony Pulis.
The manager says he is not prepared to do a deadline day deal, as it would leave him with insufficient time to buy a replacement.
