Everton want Harry Winks but talks over a deal for the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder are going slowly at the moment. Spurs may look to use out-of-favour midfielder Winks in a deal for Everton attacker Richarlison, who would be keen on joining Tottenham. (Fabrizio Romano)

Free agent forward Gareth Bale has confirmed his next club, announcing on Twitter that he is signing for LAFC in Major League Soccer. Bale has left Real Madrid this summer and has been linked with a return to English football but is now heading to the States. (Gareth Bale’s Twitter)

Chelsea are understood to have discussed Cristiano Ronaldo’s future with agent Jorge Mendes. A move for the Manchester United striker still seems unlikely but the Blues will be looking to spend under new owner Todd Boehly this summer. (The Athletic)

Celtic are on the verge of a new signing as Lanus left back Alexandro Bernabei heads for Glasgow. The Argentinian is set for a medical this weekend after Celtic agreed a fee for the 21-year-old’s signature. (90Min)

West Ham could listen to offers worth £30million for Tomas Soucek this summer. The Czech star won’t be given a pay rise and he could now look to leave the club with Aston Villa, Everton and Newcastle United all believed to be interested this summer. (The Sun)

Liverpool attacker Takumi Minamino looks set to leave the club with Monaco boss Philippe Clement confirming that a deal for the Japanese international is all but done. The deal will see Monaco pay €15million up front with €3million in add-ons (£12.9million and £2.6million). (90Min)

Rangers want to sign winger Tom Lawrence on a free transfer as he leaves Derby County on a free transfer. West Bromwich Albion, Sheffield United and Watford are also in the race though as the Welsh international becomes a man in demand. (Daily Mail)

Leeds United are now planning to make £26million bid for Club Brugge attacker Charles De Ketelaere. The 21-year-old is viewed as a versatile attacking threat and excelled in a title-winning campaign this past season, bagging 18 goals in all competitions. (Daily Mail)

England finished top of their European Under-19 Championship group by beating Israel on Saturday night. Liam Delap scored the only goal of the game, firing in a superb left-footed finish inside the first 10 minutes. (BBC Sport)

Ex-Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa won’t be returning to Athletic Bilbao. Bielsa would have become their manager again had Inaki Arechabaleta won the club’s presidential election, but Jon Urriate won – and he will now re-appoint Ernesto Valverde instead. (Daily Mail)

Mike Riley is stepping down as English football’s head of match officials – and there is now a return for Howard Webb. Former World Cup final referee Webb will be phased into a role as the Premier League’s chief refereeing officer given that he holds a similar position in Major League Soccer. (The Telegraph)
