Brighton and Hove Albion have ditched talks with Manchester City over their pursuit of Marc Cucurella. The Spaniard handed in a transfer request to try and force a move away from Brighton, but the Seagulls have ended talks with City and have made it clear that it will take upwards of £50million to make a deal happen. Chelsea are finally set to offload goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. The Spaniard, who has been a major flop since his 2018 move from Athletic Bilbao, is now heading out on loan to Napoli in Serie A. (Daily Mail)
Chelsea may be offloading one goalkeeper, but they look set to sign one too. A $15million (£12.3million) deal is in place for Chicago Fire goalkeeper Gaga Slonina to join Chelsea on January 1st, with a medical imminent. (Fabrizio Romano)

Arsenal have completed an outgoing move with left back Nuno Tavares joining Marseille on loan for the season. Arsenal have strong links to Marseille after deals involving William Saliba and Matteo Guendouzi last summer and Tavares now follows suit after the Gunners snapped up Oleksandr Zinchenko. West Ham United splashed the cash on a new striker in Gianluca Scamacca just days ago, but are now eyeing Paris Saint-Germain’s Arnaud Kalimuendo. The Frenchman has been a top target for Leeds United but West Ham are now keen too. (Goal France)
Tottenham defender Joe Rodon is set to complete his move away as a medical with French side Rennes will take place today. The Wehslman needs first-team action and should get that with Rennes, who have a €20million (£17million) purchase option. (Fabrizio Romano)
