Arsenal’s chase of Lisandro Martinez appears to be coming to an end as the Ajax defender prepares to join Manchester United. The Gunners have been bidding for Martinez in recent weeks but a deal to join his former boss Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford could be one today. (Daily Mail)

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno is now expected to leave Arsenal to join Fulham for £10million. The promoted Cottagers have offered Leno a three-year deal and whilst Leno has travelled for Arsenal tour of the US, he is still likely to leave. (The Times)

Chelsea have secured the signing of Raheem Sterling and now look set to add Kalidou Koulibaly too. Todd Boehly’s spending is really starting now and Napoli defender Koulibaly will be undergoing a medical with the Blues today. (Sky Sports)

Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga could head out on loan this season and whilst AC Milan were leading the race, Newcastle United are now looking to take Tanganga on loan with an option to buy, potentially giving Eddie Howe another versatile defensive option. (Tuttomercatoweb)

Liverpool defender Ben Davies seemingly has no future at Anfield and he could be on the move very soon. The former Preston North End ace is at the centre of talks over a return to Lancashire with Blackburn Rovers. (Daily Mail)

Everton are targeting yet another Chelsea talent with Frank Lampard now keen on signing Tino Anjorin. The attacking midfielder is wanted on a permanent deal but the Blues only want to let him go out on loan, meaning this deal faces some issues. (90Min)

After a long and drawn-out chase, Barcelona have finally secured their man having announced an agreement in principle for Leeds United winger Raphinha. Arsenal and Chelsea were also keen but Barcelona have won the race. (Barcelona official Twitter)

Nottingham Forest have launched a double bid for Huddersfield Town duo Lewis O’Brien and Harry Toffolo, worth in the region of £10million to £12million. Yet with Huddersfield valuing O’Brien at £12million alone, Forest may need to increase that offer. (The Athletic)

Tottenham took on the K-League All Stars in a pre-season friendly over in South Korea on Wednesday. Harry Kane and Son Heung-min both scored a brace each in a bonkers 6-3 victory.

The Netherlands beat Portugal 3-2 in a superb clash in the Women’s Euro 2022 on Wednesday night. Danielle van de Donk made the headlines by scoring this thunderbolt.

Wayne Rooney is back in management having been confirmed as the new boss of MLS side D.C. United. Rooney left his post as Derby County manager earlier this summer and returns to D.C. United – the club he left for Derby.
