Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli has once again been linked with a move away from the club.
A report from the Mirror has suggested that Real Madrid are willing to spend whatever it takes to bring Spurs star Dele Alli to the Bernabeu in the summer, and here’s why it could actually prove to be a positive thing for Tottenham.
Daniel Levy is notorious for playing hard-ball when it comes to the sales of the club’s star players, and he should once again play that game with Madrid.
This time though, he should demand at least one star in return – preferably Isco, and a large sum of cash on top of that, which could once again be reinvested into the playing squad.
They should quite simply say they want at least £50 million plus Isco, otherwise there will be no deal, end of story.

Spurs are in a very strong position, with the 20-year-old under contract at White Hart Lane until 2022.
Due Alli is a fantastic player, there is no denying that, but when he is part of Tottenham’s three behind Harry Kane, his lack of pace can sometimes prove to be detrimental to Spurs’ quick counter attacks.
He has also really only started to have a positive impact on his side’s season over this past month, with back-to-back braces in Spurs’ last two games.
He was actually quite poor during the first two months of the campaign, as many sides seemed to have figured out the way in which he operates.

For all of Alli’s impressive work, he still struggles to influence big games, and his tepid performances away at Chelsea and Manchester United were evidence of this.
In Isco, Mauricio Pochettino would be getting an absolute wonder of a player, from both a technical and creative aspect.
And at 24-years-old, the Spaniard has many years ahead of him at the highest level.
Players are too quickly labelled as priceless in the modern game, but in truth, every player has their price.
And Dele Alli is no different.
It just depends on how much Madrid actually want him.
