Celtic have the opportunity to sign Clinton N’Jie, according to a report.

According to France Football, Celtic have the chance to sign Clinton N’Jie from Marseille as part of a swap deal for Moussa Dembele.
In terms of style, N’Jie would not be a like for like replacement, but he is a very intriguing player who Celtic should strongly consider if they decide it is time to cash in on Dembele.
N’Jie is a player who already has one big move on his CV, with Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham spending £8 million to sign him in 2015.
The move came a little too early for the Cameroon international, whose only season at Spurs was blighted by injury before he headed back to France a year later on a loan deal which became permanent.
N’Jie can play both up front and on the wing, so could be utilised alongside Leigh Griffiths or Odsonne Edouard as opposed to being an either or scenario.

Last season he scored nine goals for Marseille and provided seven assists – despite playing the full 90 minutes only three times.
One of the most attractive elements of Celtic signing N’Jie is that the fact he could be worth far more in a few years time.
In three years if N’Jie has a run of good seasons at Celtic, they could sell him on for a huge profit, with a club looking to take the gamble Tottenham once did.
He would be 28 then, and still have plenty left to offer, and Celtic could persuade him this is the right stepping stone for his career if he makes the move and proves his quality.
