Signed in 2015 by Nicola Salerno the midfielder has struggled ever since.
During the reign of Massimo Cellino in ownership of Leeds United the Yorkshire club have made some interesting signings from Italian football.
In January 2015 then Leeds United director of football Nicola Salerno completed a double swoop on Serie A side Palermo. Sol Bamba, initially at least, was a big hit and went on to become the club captain at Elland Road.
But the man who also came with him was less impressive.
Granddi N’Goyi, a powerful midfielder, arrived but got next to no football under Neil Redfearn.
The move included a buying option of around £2 million – as reported by TuttoMercatoWeb – and Salerno was a big fan of the player.

Needless to say, it didn’t work out.
N’Goyi, a former French under-21 international, played just once for Leeds in an injury struck spell at Elland Road and was not considered a success at the club.
So what is he up to now?
Not much by the looks of things.

After spending the 2015-16 season on loan at Dijon in France, where he also made minimal impact, he was released by Palermo in the summer.
At the moment, he remains a free agent.
The most recent report, from Foot Mercato last month, saw him confirm he was 100 per cent fit and training at Senart-Moissy of CFA 2, the fifth tier of football in France.
Leeds United will certainly be pleased they didn’t spend £2 million on the player just over a year ago.
