Tottenham Hotspur could well be losing Toby Alderweireld this summer, and should definitely be considering Kalidou Koulibaly as a possible replacement.

As reported by CalcioNapoli24, Maurizio Sarri is eyeing up a move to bring Napoli centre-back Raul Albiol to Chelsea ahead of the 2018/19 season, and that could – and maybe should – open the door for Tottenham to move for his teammate Kalidou Koulibaly.
Sarri is widely expected to replace Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, despite the proposed move looking dead in the water at one point, and apparently Albiol would be a prime target and not Koulibaly – likely because his release clause would only be €6 million.

With CalcioNapoli24 claiming Chelsea are therefore unlikely to move for Koulibaly, Tottenham should consider stepping in with an offer, with Toby Alderweireld a possible outgoing this summer.
The 27-year-old, who is currently on World Cup duty with Senegal, is regarding as one of the best defenders in Serie A, and has been coveted by a number of big teams across Europe in recent seasons.

He would make an ideal replacement for Alderweireld, but Tottenham would have to shell out a lot of money to snap him up, especially if Premier League rivals Liverpool come calling.
If Sarri would indeed prefer to sign Albiol on the cheap, then Tottenham ought to capitalise on one less team being in the running to sign Kouliably – especially given the situation with Alderweireld. They should at least be closely monitoring him at this stage.
