Celtic officially unveiled their brand new away kit for the 2018/19 season on Tuesday, and the club’s fans are pretty spilt about its appearance.

Celtic have revealed their new away kit for the 2018/19 season, and as with most new kit reveals, some supporters love it and some really have their reservations.
The kit is sponsored by New Balance and has a historic twist. The bright white number with bottle green trim is apparently a nod to the origins and will be worn on the road this season.
A Celtic cross replaces the club’s crest on the left hand side, and is a throwback to the crest sported on the first ever shirt worn by the club.

An official club statement read: “Showcasing the club’s Irish heritage, the Celtic Cross crest returns to the kit, an homage to the same design on the first ever Celtic jersey.
“The new away kit has been launched as part of the brand new campaign for 2018/19, ‘Only the Bold’, representing that community has always been a big part of Celtic. The Bold Bhoys have always been a family club – as one Club, we face every challenge, always boldly.
“The shirt features a subtle tonal tartan design set against White and Eden Green, as well as top shoulder bonded tape, satin stitch appliqued club crest and a button flat knit collar with contrasting tipping.”
Brendan Rodger’s side are on the back of another treble winning season, and go into the new campaign with an array of new kits, looking to maintain their advantage over Rangers, who will now be led by former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.
The new shirt has been modelled by the likes of Leigh Griffiths and Callum McGregor and is being received both positively and negatively by fans:
