West Ham United fans are up in arms after new reports over want away striker Diafra Sakho’s contract.
West Ham have turned a corner under David Moyes and have given themselves real hope of Premier League survival.
Moyes has the team well drilled, organised, fitter and disciplined of late and it has showed on the pitch with seven points from games against Chelsa, Arsenal and Stoke City after an unfortunate late defeat to Manchester City.
Wantaway striker Diafra Sakho appears to be doing his level best to rock a steadied ship, though, if fresh reports are to be believed.
The Mail claims Sakho had expected to start at the Emirates until a conversation with Moyes about why the new manager had not been picking him to start in the Premier League team.
The 27-year-old believes a lack of game time is down to a staggering bonus clause in a new contract signed in the summer AFTER he had so publicly tried to leave the club.
The Mail reports that Sakho’s deal is understood to reward him with a £50,000 bonus whenever he starts in the Premier League – more than doubling his basic weekly pay.
The report did not go down well with Hammers fans who were disgusted at the reported bonus payment clause and feel it is time for Sakho to move on.
