Everton have been linked with a huge bid for Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jorgensen.
Nicolai Jorgensen
Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jorgensen has told the latest issue of ELF Voetbal in the Netherlands that he isn’t interested in a move to the Premier League right now.
On Sunday, Danish newspaper BT reported that Everton had been impressed with Jorgensen’s displays for Feyenoord last season, as they look to bring in another striker this summer.
Everton’s Romelu Lukaku looks dejected
After landing Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen last week, it’s now claimed that Everton are prepared to offer around £18million to sign Jorgensen as a potential replacement for star striker Romelu Lukaku.
Whether Lukaku leaves or not, Everton certainly need another striker, and manager Ronald Koeman may now return to former club Feyenoord in order to land their top goalscorer.
Jorgensen, 26, only joined Feyenoord from Copenhagen last summer, and whilst his fellow Danish striker Kasper Dolberg may have grabbed more headlines in the Netherlands, Jorgensen enjoyed a stunning campaign of his own.

With 25 goals in all competitions, Jorgensen starred for Feyenoord, scoring 21 times in the Eredivisie as the Rotterdam club clinched their first league title in almost 20 years.
His displays appear to have attracted Everton’s attention, but they may now have to turn their attentions elsewhere after strong comments from the striker himself.

Jorgensen has told the latest issue of ELF Voetbal that he doesn’t want to leave Feyenoord right now and wants to help them retain the title next season, whilst adding that he isn’t the kind of player who believes he must move to the Premier League in order to be considered a success.
“When I signed my contract with Feyenoord last year, I had no intention to leave after one or two years,” said Jorgensen. “I’m not someone who necessarily wants to leave for the Premier League to discuss a successful career.”
“I’m happy here. I’m infected by the Feyenoord virus, and will hard to try to keep the level of last season,” he added.
