Leeds United have sent Toumani Diagouraga out on loan to Ipswich Town.
Toumani Diagouraga has taken to Twitter to send a message to supporters after completing a loan move from Leeds United to Ipswich Town.
Diagouraga, 29, cost Leeds £600,000 (Daily Mail) last January, as then-manager Steve Evans swooped to sign the midfielder from Championship rivals Brentford.

The Frenchman was a key part of Evans’s side, scoring three times in 19 appearances for the Whites during the second half of last season, but he found life at Elland Road much tougher under Evans’ replacement Garry Monk.
Whilst Diagouraga started on the opening weekend of the season in a 3-0 defeat at Queens Park Rangers, that remains his one and only appearance of the season having been completely frozen out by Monk this term.

Having been featuring in the Leeds Under-23’s side for most of the season, Diagouraga was expected to leave Elland Road during this month’s transfer window – and on Monday, he got his move.
Ipswich Town confirmed on Monday that they have swooped to sign Diagouraga on loan until the end of the season, handing Mick McCarthy another option in midfield after Saturday’s 2-0 defeat away at Huddersfield Town.
After sealing his move, Diagouraga took to Twitter to react to his deal, stating that he’s ‘delighted’ have joined the Tractor Boys, and can’t wait to get started at Portman Road.
Diagouraga is now in line to make his debut against Preston North End this weekend, and after such a frustrating season at Leeds, he’ll be desperate to make an impact with Ipswich, and show Monk what he’s missing.
