Leeds United loaned out Toumani Diagouraga to Ipswich Town earlier in the season.
Leeds United supporters have welcomed Toumani Diagouraga back to Elland Road, after the midfielder confirmed that his loan spell with Ipswich Town had been brought to a premature end.
Diagouraga moved to Ipswich from Leeds in the January transfer window, and he has made a good impression with Mick McCarthy’s side.
The French-born 29-year-old had been a regular in Ipswich’s side, but has picked up an injury which will keep him out for the rest of the campaign.
And many Leeds fans appear to be hoping that Diagouraga still has a future at the Yorkshire club.
It seems doubtful whether Diagouraga will be given another chance at Leeds, if Garry Monk remains as manager.
Diagouraga played in Leeds’ first match of the season, but was never given another opportunity.
And it seems most likely that Leeds will look to move Diagouraga on permanently in the summer transfer window.
