Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has praised Bukayo Saka in Football.London for his development and progress since the European Championship in 2021.

Arteta has said that Arsenal star Saka has become tougher and better since his disappointment with England at the Euro 2020 finals.

England lost to Italy in the final of Euro 2020.

Saka, who can play as a winger, midfielder or wing-back, failed to convert his penalty in the shootout.

Arteta said about Saka when asked how much he has changed since the Euros: “I don’t know. Experiences make you tougher and better if they don’t get you down too much.

“I think he reacted in a great way. I think the support and the recognition that he got from world football was great and it helped him to develop into a better player.”

Big player for club and country

In our view, Bukayo Saka is one of the best young players in England and is one of the best players for Arsenal.

The 21-year-old has established himself as a regular for the Gunners and for the Three Lions.

Saka is part of the England squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.

If Gareth Southgate’s side are to win the World Cup, then, in our view, Saka will have to be on top of his game in the tournament.

It must have been really tough for Saka to deal with the disappointment at the Euros, but it is a testament to his mental strength and character that he has bounced back and did not let that affect him.

The 21-year-old has scored four goals and given six assists in the Premier League and has scored one goal in the UEFA Europa League for Arsenal so far this season.
