New Brighton and Hove Albion signing Josh Kerr has taken to Twitter to say goodbye to Celtic after completing his move to the South Coast earlier today.
The Seagulls won promotion to the Premier League this season, and having already tied up a deal for Ingolstadt midfielder Pascal Gross, Chris Hughton is back in the transfer market again.
This time, Brighton have tied up a deal to sign Celtic youngster Josh Kerr on a two-year deal this summer, after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for the right back.
Kerr, 19, has spent five years in the Celtic ranks having arrived from Hamilton Academical, but never featured for the Bhoys first team, instead mostly playing UEFA Youth League games.

In those appearances, Kerr appears to have done enough to convince Brighton boss Hughton that he has real potential for the future, and he will now look to play Premier League football next season.
Brighton right back Bruno Saltor is now 36, meaning that the Seagulls could groom Kerr to become his replacement over the coming years, and he joins former Celtic duo Beram Kayal and Richie Towell at the Amex Stadium.

After his move was announced, Kerr took to Twitter to send a message to both sets of fans, first stating that he was delighted to have signed for Brighton.
Kerr then went on to admit that it was a tough decision to leave Celtic, thanking everybody at Celtic Park for their work with him during his time with the Bhoys.
