Tottenham Hotspur are excited about Destiny Udogie and the Italian press appear to be blown away by his ability going forward.
Spurs fans may not say this all that often, but Tottenham appear to have been ahead of the curve when it comes to Udogie.
Tottenham seemingly knew that a number of clubs would be trying to sign Udogie in the summer of 2023.
Spurs moved quickly last summer and struck a deal worth £15million rising to £18million, but sent Udogie back to Udinese on loan for the season.
That means Udogie can play regular first-team football in Italy and hopefully head to North London a more well-rounded player.
The signs so far are very positive and Udogie’s latest display with leave Tottenham fans buzzing to see him in action.

Tottenham-bound Destiny Udogie earns praise after early goal
Udogie started at left wing back for Udinese against Sassuolo on Sunday and he made an instant impact.
With just 25 seconds on the clock, Udogie found the net with a low, right-footed drive having cut inside from the left flank.
Udinese could only draw 2-2 in the end but Udogie’s attacking play was on show for all to see.
Tuttomercatoweb rated Udogie at seven out of 10, with no Udinese ranking higher after a frustrating draw.
They note that whilst Udogie isn’t completely solid defensively, he is a ‘constant problem’ when driving Udinese forward.
That’s much more positive than TMW‘s recent assertion that Udogie is ‘too soft’ in the tackle after a mixed display against Verona.
There are certainly things for Udogie to work on; he’s just 20 and still learning his trade over in Italy.
Yet with so much natural pace and attacking ability, Tottenham will feel confident that they have their left wing back of the future already secured.
