Tottenham Hotspur want Kim Min-jae and he has praised the return to fitness of Son Heung-min ahead of South Korea’s World Cup bow.
South Korea have been landed in something of a ‘group of death’.
Groups that contain four counties from different confederations always spark that kind of feeling.
Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea make up a fascinating Group H and they all get underway on Thursday.

Tottenham target Kim Min-jae celebrates Son’s return
South Korea aren’t exactly expected to make a huge impact in this tournament but do have a couple of key players starring in Europe.
One is star attacker Son Heung-min, who is set to feature in his third straight World Cup.
Then there is Napoli defender Kim Min-jae, who has arguably been the best defender in Serie A so far this season.
South Korea were given a major scare earlier this month when Son suffered a fractured eye socket whilst playing for Spurs against Marseille.
Son has managed to make it back for the World Cup but looks likely to wear a protective mask against Uruguay on Thursday.
Kim has now celebrated Son’s return in quotes published by the Korea Herald.
“It’s very reassuring that (Son) Heung-min has joined the team, since he can score against any team,” said Kim ahead of travelling out to Qatar.
Kim is clearly a huge fan of Son and the hopes of South Korea likely rest on the duo performing well.
We could even see them link up at domestic level too.
Tottenham have been linked with Kim for years now and the rumours aren’t exactly dying down now he’s playing so well in Italy.
Claims from Napoli-based website Gonfia La Rete report that Tottenham are now willing to pay the €50million (£43million) release clause in Kim’s contract.
That would pretty much be an admission that Tottenham got it wrong by not paying much, much less when they were keen on Kim at Beijing Guoan.
Still, Kim is excited to play with Son in Qatar and maybe doing the same in the Premier League will appeal.
