Tottenham Hotspur have another young player well worth keeping an eye on.

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of exciting young players coming through the ranks right now; so much so that it would be easy for some of them to pass their fans by, especially with all the talk about wonder-kid Marcus Edwards.

But 20-year-old Will Miller had a match to savour on Saturday when he scored after coming off the bench for Burton Albion against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Burton were trailing when the Spurs man came on, but he poked home in the fourth minute of added-time to ensure Wolves did not end the game with all three points.

Miller has impressed in Tottenham’s youth ranks for quite some time, scoring seven goals in 37 under-21 appearances to date and looking like a fine creative outlet.

But even he would not have envisaged playing such a big role in what was only his second taste of competitive first-team action.

Predominantly a left winger, Miller is also comfortable playing on the opposite flank, as an attacking midfielder or as a centre forward, and that versatility marks him out as one to watch.

He can even play at left-back, as proved by the surprising selection of Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino for the pre-season clash with Juventus, but it is further forward where he is at his best.

Miller may not have generated the headlines the way Edwards, Shayon Harrison, Cameron Carter-Vickers and the like have, but he has the innate talent to ultimately succeed at White Hart Lane, and his loan spell in the Championship could go a long way to proving that.
