Troy Parrott has signed his first pro deal at Tottenham Hotspur.

Young Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott has put pen to paper on his first professional contract.
Parrott, who turned 17 today, has been scoring goals for fun in Tottenham’s Under-18 side this season.
And it looks like that rich vein of form has resulted in the young Irish marksman earning a first pro deal in North London.
Here’s how the player and some Tottenham fans reacted.
Parrott is a huge talent and senior manager Mauricio Pochettino obviously thinks so.
Since Harry Kane’s ankle injury, Parrott has been travelling with Spurs’ senior team as an emergency option in the event that an attacking player suddenly becomes unavailable.
Pochettino has also watched the teenager at close quarters after inviting him to train with the first team on a regular basis in recent weeks.

The Argentine has brought Vincent Janssen back into his Premier League squad, which might mean less of a chance of Parrott making his senior debut from now until the end of the season.
But he is clearly one for the future nonetheless and it’ll be fascinating to see if he can impress Pochettino in the summer, perhaps earning a spot on the plane for Spurs’ pre-season tour.
