HITC Sport has taken a look at the top 10 passers from the Tottenham Hotspur squad in the Premier League so far this season.

With the international break now upon us, HITC Sport has taken a look at some of the stats from the season so far, starting with Tottenham’s top 10 passers…

10. Hugo Lloris

The Tottenham captain has made 131 accurate passes so far this season. He is arguably one of the most well-rounded goalkeepers in the Premier League, and his composure on the ball is one of the key reasons for that.

9. Mousa Dembele

Mousa Dembele has perhaps not been at his best this season, but 188 accurate passes in just four league appearances for Spurs is an extremely impressive return.

8. Dele Alli

Dele Alli is supposedly enduring a dip in form this term, but his passing statistics are still solid given the area of the pitch he plays in. He has found a teammate with 196 passes this term.

7. Davinson Sanchez

Davinson Sanchez has taken little time to settle in at Tottenham following his summer arrival. He has made 211 accurate passes so far.

6. Ben Davies

Ben Davies’ form has been one of the pleasant surprises of the season for Mauricio Pochettino, with the left-back doing well defensively and proving to be influential going forward also. He has completed 234 passes this season.

5. Kieran Trippier

Tottenham’s full-backs play a crucial role in their game-plan, so it is not surprising that the man who plays on the opposite flank to Davies, Kieran Trippier also ranks highly, having made 237 accurate passes.

4. Christian Eriksen

Given Christian Eriksen’s role in the team and the reliance on his creativity, his return of 342 accurate passes is quite incredible, especially as he has played fewer minutes than any of the top three.

3. Eric Dier

Eric Dier has made another solid start to the season and sits third on this list, having made 390 accurate passes so far this season.

2. Toby Alderweireld

Toby Alderweireld has been a fantastic addition to Tottenham’s side since arriving in 2015, and has been an ever-present this term. He sits well clear of Dier, having made 446 accurate passes.

1. Jan Vertonghen

The most prolific passer of the ball in the Tottenham squad this term is Jan Vertonghen, who has also played every minute in the top flight. He has found a teammate with 480 passes this season.
