The young Tottenham Hotspur midfielder is a real talent.

As Tottenham Hotspur’s senior players prepare for their return to the Champions League, the next generation have ambitions of their own, with 16-year-old Tashan Oakley-Boothe potentially having a season to remember with far older teammates.

The central midfielder caught the attention last season with a number of impressive performances for the under-18s, including a goal and two assists in a 7-3 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Those showings earned the praise of then-coach Kieran McKenna, to such an extent that Oakley-Boothe is now taking steps into Tottenham’s under-23s, with a substitute appearance against their Chelsea counterparts on Friday.

The midfielder could not help his side to victory during his 35 minutes on the field, but his presence suggested he could be set for plenty more chances at that level this season and beyond…and from there the sky really is the limit for the talented teenager.
