South Korea managed to pull level in the 56th minute through former Sunderland striker Ji Dong-won, who famously scored a winner against Manchester City on New Years Day to send the Stadium of Light wild and inspire another brilliant piece of commentary from Sky Sports’ Martin Tyler.
The home side then completed the turnaround two minutes later when the in-form Son found the net to make it 3-2 and give South Korea the win as they continue their qualification for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
