Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min says he’s running on empty.

With Harry Kane and Dele Alli both injured, Tottenham Hotspur need Son Heung-min back as soon as possible.
And it looks like Spurs will get their wish after South Korea were eliminated from the Asian Cup sooner than expected.
But in what condition will he return to North London? Going by his latest comments, not a good one.
The Tottenham attacker is easily his country’s best player, but Son didn’t score in the competition.
And the 27-year-old claimed to Japan Times that he was ‘physically empty’ and deprived of sleep before the tournament even started.
He said: “I felt physically empty. I’m feel so sorry to have let down my teammates, coaches and the fans. I would rather not speak about it really, but I haven’t felt right physically,” said the 26-year-old. I was losing sleep — I should have looked after my condition better.”
It’s a worry for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino because as desperately as he needs the former Bayer Leverkusen star, it’s abundantly clear that Son is in dire need of a break.
Problem is, the Lilywhites have a first leg clash with Borussia Dortmund in the last 16 of the Champions League in 17 days and their hopes of securing a good result could easily hinge on whether Son is available.
He has nine goals in his last 12 games for Spurs across all competitions.
