After a sensational campaign that ended in disappointment last season for Tottenham Hotspur, there were a lot of question marks next to whether Mauricio Pochettino’s side could hit the same heights.
It has been an up and down start to the campaign for the North Londoners, which has seen Champions League disappointment and Premier League inconsistency.

The season began with a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park. Everton took the lead early on through Ross Barkley, with Erik Lamela bringing Spurs level in the second half.

Tottenham’s biggest win of the season so far came at the expense of Stoke City.
A brace from Son Heung-Min, plus strikes from Dele Alli and Harry Kane made it 4-0 to Spurs, who matched their result from last season at the bet365 Stadium.

Their league home games continue to take place at White Hart Lane, but Spurs’ temporary home for the Champions League is Wembley.
Their opening game at the national stadium ended in defeat however, with Monaco making it a sad start to Tottenham’s latest European adventure.

After Champions League defeat, Tottenham bounced back with a 1-0 win over Sunderland, thanks to a goal from Kane.
However, the biggest talking point after the game was an injury to their star striker, forcing Kane to miss seven weeks of action.
Tottenham’s Dele Alli celebrates scoring their second goal
Wins over Gillingham in the League Cup, Middlesbrough, and CSKA Moscow away followed, before Pochettino’s men recorded their fourth consecutive league victory, beating Manchester City 2-0 at White Hart Lane.
It was a huge win for Spurs, with an own goal then an Alli strike making them the first team to beat Pep Guardiola since he arrived in England.
West Bromwich Albion’s Nacer Chadli celebrates scoring their first goal
Nacer Chadli left Tottenham during the summer to join West Brom, and the Belgian gave Spurs a real scare when the two sides met at the Hawthorns.
Chadli put the Baggies in front in the 82nd minute, before Alli rescued a point for Spurs with a minute to go.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Kevin Kampl scores against Spurs
Wembley certainly is not a happy home for Tottenham in the Champions League.
They welcomed Bayer Leverkusen to their temporary stadium after drawing 0-0 in October either side of league draws against Leicester and Bournemouth, but Kevin Kampl scored the only goal of the game to make it back-to-back Wembley defeats for Spurs.
Tottenham’s Kevin Wimmer scores Arsenal’s first with an own goal
In a huge North London derby at the Emirates, a Kevin Wimmer own goal put Arsenal in front on the stroke of half time.
A new formation with three at the back had proved to be unsuccessful in the opening 45 minutes.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane celebrates scoring their first goal from the penalty spot
Spurs’ main man Kane returned just in time for the clash with Arsenal, and his second half penalty ensured that Tottenham preserved their unbeaten start to the Premier League, sending Pochettino and co home with a point.
After 11 games, Tottenham are fifth in the league and five points off top spot.
