The Manchester United ace is a reported transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.

Mauricio Pochettino will be determined to bolster his options at Tottenham this summer, if he is to build a squad of players who are capable of challenging for major honours next season, and bringing an end to their 10-year wait for a trophy.
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United’s Anthony Martial is one of the Argentine’s key summer transfer targets, with Spurs willing to pay up to £44 million for the Frenchman, and what an incredible signing he could turn out to be.
The 22-year-old joined United from Monaco in the summer of 2015, for a fee that could eventually eclipse the £60 million mark, and he has since gone on to chip in with 36 goals and 27 assists in 134 appearances in all competitions.

Martial has not been immune from criticism during his time at Old Trafford, however, especially since Jose Mourinho took over as manager in the summer of 2016.
On his day, the France international is one of the scariest attackers in the game, what with his explosive pace and keen eye for a goal.
Working under a manager like Pochettino might just help bring the best out of him, and what an incredibly dangerous attacking line-up Tottenham would have with Martial amongst their ranks.

Poch already has Harry Kane, Lucas Moura, Heung-Min Son, Dele Alli, Christian Erisken and Erik Lamela to choose from in the attacking positions, but the addition of the United ace really would take them to another level.
If Tottenham do manage to sign Martial for the £44 million that has been reported, it would surely be considered as fantastic business in today’s day and age, and it could be the acquisition that help’s Pochettino’s side finally end their 10-year wait for a trophy.
